Thanks to our Tax Free Lounge, guests from non-EU countries can obtain an immediate refund of part of the VAT on all purchases over €70 made at The Mall Firenze or elsewhere in Italy.

To request an advance VAT refund, you will need to present:
• all Tax Free forms issued by the stores;
• passport or identity card (for Swiss residents only);
• a valid credit card in the applicant’s name.

Useful information:
• maximum refundable amount: €999.50 in cash and €1,500.00 by credit card. Any refunds exceeding these amounts can be requested at the final EU airport of departure;
• the refund request procedure must be completed within 3 months from the date of purchase;
• to proceed, the applicant must leave the EU within 20 days for departures from Italy, or within 9 days for departures from the rest of Europe;
• the Tax Free procedure is not completed at The Mall Firenze. At the final airport of departure from the European Union, the refund must be validated with a customs stamp.

Shipping service for purchases made at The Mall Firenze
For purchases made at The Mall Firenze for which a VAT refund has been requested, our shipping service* with DHL to non-EU countries is available from Monday to Saturday, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

To use the shipping service, in addition to the above documents, you will also need to present your airline ticket for departure from the EU at our Tax Free Lounge.

Shipping is not available for certain product categories: jewelry valued over €1,000, perfumes, works of art, tobacco, truffles, weapons, and items subject to CITES restrictions.
